We are halfway to the first milepost of the year–5 week progress reports!  The 5 week grades are not permanent–but they provide a good indication of how your kids are doing so far.  As we close in on this point, it’s a good time to make sure you’re all set with parent portal and that you’re checking your student(s) agenda.  If you have any questions–don’t hesitate to give a call to the team teachers or email.

If you don’t have a parent portal log-in, stop by the main office and we’ll give you a form–

This week’s big event is picture day.  Actually, pictures will be taken by Legend Studios over the course of two days, on Wednesday, September 25 and Thursday, September 26th.  Information will be sent home from homeroom teachers on Monday.  Students will have their pictures taken during their phys ed period — talk to your kids about whether they have gym on a day one or a day two.

We’re busy planning our first dance, for 6th-8th graders that will take place on Friday, October 4th, from 6pm – 8pm.  5th graders will have their own event later in the year–stay tuned!

Big congrats to all those students that completed their summer reading book logs!  Early this week we’ll be sending information home about our lock in–when we’ve got all permissions finalized, we’ll get word to the kids and families.  It’s going to be a fantastic time!  And tiring!

More talk soon–call with any question, or email!
